Really pleased with this beautiful journal. Spent a bit more than I was planning to on a journal but am not disappointed at all - well worth it for the quality. Really lovely soft leather and I love writing in it. Thought the band across the front might look a bit strange but it doesn't at all. It's a bit more contemporary looking than the leather shoe lace type ways of keeping journals closed, but that is a good thing as far as I'm concerned, and it is much more practical too.
